These general terms of use (hereinafter “Terms of Use”) are intended to define the respective rights and obligations of the user and the publisher of the Applications published by Ezymob, in the context of using these Applications.
Important: Ezymob’s Applications are intended to assist vulnerable individuals in their use of public transport, their travel during events, in public access buildings (ERP), and on public roads, including but not limited to people with visual or cognitive impairments. For user safety, they must be used in combination with other aids such as a cane or a service dog.
The publisher of the Applications is the company EZYMOB, a simplified joint-stock company registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 883 648 636, with its registered office located at 8 avenue Jeanne d’Arc, ANTONY (92160) (hereinafter “EZYMOB”). EZYMOB can be contacted by email at contact@ezymob.fr.
The Terms of Use are displayed and must be accepted upon the first launch of the Ezymob mobile Applications. For web applications published by Ezymob, the User acknowledges having read these General Terms of Use and accepts them without reservation.
Any use of the Applications must comply with these Terms of Use. These general terms of use (hereinafter “Terms of Use”) are intended to define the respective rights and obligations of the user and the publisher of the Applications published by Ezymob, in the context of using these Applications.
1. Definitions
Terms beginning with a capital letter, whether used in the singular or plural, shall have the following meanings within these Terms of Use:
“Application” refers to any software application, mobile or web, published and provided by EZYMOB or one of its Clients, allowing access to the services offered by EZYMOB. This includes, in particular:
– Mobile Applications, available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android) platforms, which can be downloaded and installed on a mobile device;
– Web Applications, accessible via a compatible browser on a connected device.
The Applications include all content (including text, visual, audio, and audiovisual), software, programs, tools (including programming and navigation tools), databases, and operating systems that compose them, their documentation, as well as any updates and new versions that may be provided by EZYMOB.
“User Account” refers to the User’s strictly personal access right to the Applications, created according to the procedure described in Article 3.
“Features” refers to the various features of the Applications, as described in Article 2 below.
“User” or “You” refers to the natural person who uses the Applications.
“Partners” or “Clients” refers to the entities that have entered into an agreement for the use of the Applications within a defined territory. The terms of publication and management of the Applications may therefore be modified by the license agreement established between Ezymob and its Partners.
“ERP”: Public Access Building (Établissement Recevant du Public), in which EZYMOB solutions can be installed.
2. Purpose of the applications and description of their features
2.1. Application for public transport
The purpose of the Application is to assist the User with their public transport travel. To this end, it currently includes the following features for travel by train, bus, tram, or subway within the limits of a territory's public transport network:
Route planning;
Creating shortcuts to favorite destinations;
Checking line schedules at a station;
Guidance to the departure station;
Locating a turnstile;
Indicating wait times for trains, subways, trams, RER, or buses;
Access to real-time traffic information;
Locating a door to enter the vehicle;
Locating an available seat;
Tracking the journey for exit instructions;
Guidance within a station or transport hub.
Certain versions of the Ezymob transport application may only contain a portion of the features mentioned above, depending on commercial agreements made with the territory and the composition of the transport network.
This list may be modified at any time by EZYMOB, particularly through the addition of new features or at the request of one of its clients.
The operation of the application and its various features relies primarily on the conversion of visual or digital information—provided by the public transport operator, public databases (open data), or collected via the user's phone—into auditory information that is easily interpretable by visually impaired users.
The application for public transport is designed to function exclusively within the perimeter of the transport network with which EZYMOB or one of its partners has entered into an operating contract. The user is informed that the application may not be available or may not function correctly on other networks, even if they are located in the same geographical area. The functional coverage of the application therefore depends directly on agreements concluded with transport organizing authorities or the relevant operators.
2.2. Application for events or ERPs
EZYMOB offers a guidance solution available as a web application or via a mobile application, allowing any user to be guided within ERPs (administrative, sports, cultural, etc.) or at events (trade shows, festivals, conferences, etc.).
To this end, it currently includes the following features:
Display of an interactive map, viewable from a smartphone via a web browser or directly on the mobile applications;
Route generation based on a digital map;
A geolocation system based on GPS position;
Instructions adapted to the user profile (visual, cognitive, motor);
Audio, visual, or Easy-to-Read (FALC) guidance;
Practical information (descriptions, photos);
Some locations featured on the application for Ezymob events or ERPs may only contain a portion of the features mentioned above, depending on commercial agreements made with these locations and the layout of the building.
This list may be modified at any time by EZYMOB, particularly through the addition of new features or at the request of one of its clients.
The operation of the application and its various features relies primarily on the conversion of digital information—provided by an event organizer, an ERP manager, or public databases (open data)—into auditory information that is easily interpretable by users with visual or cognitive impairments. It also relies on the use of the user's GPS position.
2.3. Ezymob Application
2.3.1. Application terms of use
2.3.1.1. Choosing a profile
Upon the first launch of the application, each user is invited to choose a profile from those offered by EZYMOB. This choice allows for the adaptation of the screens and features to which the user will have access, in order to provide a personalized experience tailored to their needs and any potential disability.
The user is informed that the available profiles are defined by EZYMOB and may be modified at any time. The user can change their profile at any time from the application settings.

Certain Ezymob application territories, as well as certain profile configurations within the same application, may only contain a portion of the features mentioned above, depending on commercial agreements made with the territory, the composition of the transport network, and the selected user profile.
This list may be modified at any time by EZYMOB, particularly through the addition of new features or at the request of one of its clients.
The operation of this tab relies primarily on the conversion of visual or digital information—provided by the public transport operator, public databases (open data), or collected via the user's phone—into auditory information that is easily interpretable by visually impaired users.
The public transport tab of the Ezymob application is designed to function exclusively within the perimeter of the transport network with which EZYMOB has entered into an operating contract or has made its features available. The user is informed that this tab may not be available or may not function correctly on other networks, even if they are located in a nearby geographical area. The functional coverage of the tab therefore depends directly on agreements concluded with transport organizing authorities, the relevant operators, or EZYMOB's decision to make its solution available on certain networks.
2.3.1.4. "Locations" tab

The operation of this tab relies primarily on the conversion of digital information—provided by an event organizer, an ERP manager, or public databases (open data)—into auditory information that is easily interpretable by users with visual or cognitive impairments. It also relies on the use of the user's GPS position.
2.3.2. Application access conditions
Using the Ezymob application does not require creating a user account. The application is accessible immediately after downloading and selecting a profile, with no prior registration required.
The application is available for free on the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). The user agrees to use the application in accordance with these Terms of Service and to comply with all their conditions.
The Ezymob application is designed to function within a defined geographical perimeter, corresponding to local partnerships and data available in the relevant territory. Outside of this perimeter, certain features, information, or services may be limited, unavailable, or non-functional. The user acknowledges that the availability of content, the quality of guidance, and the completeness of information accessible via the application may vary depending on the territory of use.
Ezymob strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding accessible locations and data referenced in the application. However, this information is provided for guidance only and may contain errors or omissions. Consequently, Ezymob cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or interpretation of this information. It is the user's responsibility to verify the accuracy of information with official sources or the relevant entities.
3. Prerequisites and instructions for using the Applications
3.1. Important warning for safe use of the Applications
The Applications are an assistive tool designed to facilitate the User's travel on public transport, on public roads, in public buildings, and at events.
They cannot in any way be sufficient on their own to guarantee the User's safety while traveling, and must imperatively be used in conjunction with other aids such as a cane, a service dog, a human guide, or any other necessary mobility aid. Furthermore, information provided by the Applications must always be verified against information accessible or broadcast in the User's immediate environment, such as warnings, audio information messages, and platform edge tactile paving, provided by road services, transport operators, public buildings, or event organizers.
3.1.1. Technical prerequisites
3.1.1.1. Compatible phones and operating systems
To use the mobile Applications, You must have a compatible phone. The mobile Applications can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play Store or accessed from any web browser, only on the following mobile devices:
Apple iPhone mobile phone with iOS 13 or later.
Mobile phone with Android API version 18 (Android 4.3) or later.
The software version of the Applications may be updated from time to time, particularly to add new features. In the event of an update, it is possible that new versions of the Applications may no longer be compatible with previously compatible phones or operating systems; the User will be informed of this.
3.1.1.2. Use via web browser
To use the web Applications, the User may access EZYMOB Services via a web browser (i.e., outside of the native mobile Application). Please be aware that some features may not be fully compatible or functional depending on the browser used.
For an optimal experience, EZYMOB recommends using the latest versions of standard browsers such as Google Chrome or Safari. Using any other browser may limit, impair, or prevent the proper functioning of certain features (e.g., geolocation, interface, accessibility, etc.).
EZYMOB cannot be held responsible for malfunctions related to the use of a non-recommended browser or an incompatible browsing environment.
3.1.1.3. Voice dictation, voice recognition, and microphone
Using the Applications requires the User to have enabled their phone's voice dictation and voice recognition features, and to have authorized the Applications to use these features as well as their phone's microphone.
If these features are disabled, if the Applications' permission to access them is revoked, or if any of these features or the microphone ceases to function, the Applications will not be able to function.
3.1.1.4. Geolocation
Geolocation of the User's phone is necessary for using the Applications' route creation, guidance, and trip tracking features.
To use these features, the User must therefore enable geolocation directly in their phone's settings and authorize the Applications to use this geolocation function.
If the phone's geolocation is disabled or not functioning, or if the User revokes the permission allowing the Applications to use it, the Applications' guidance features will not be able to function.
3.1.1.5. Camera access authorization
Activation and proper functioning of the User's phone camera is necessary for using the Applications' location-based detection and environment analysis features (detection of turnstiles, doors, seats, 360° guidance, etc.).
To use these features, the User must therefore authorize the Applications to access their phone's camera.
If the camera is disabled, not functioning, or obstructed, or if the Applications' permission to access it is revoked, the Applications' environment detection and analysis features will not be able to function.
3.1.1.6. Hardware and technological limitations inherent to the User's device
Certain features of the Applications rely on ARCore (Augmented Reality Core) technology, developed by Google. This technology is widely used and is a standard feature on the vast majority of mobile devices available on the market (approximately 87% of phones in circulation—including some models released over ten years ago—are compatible with ARCore).
However, EZYMOB cannot guarantee that features relying on ARCore will function properly on all devices. Some phone models may prove incompatible with this technology, even among devices listed on the official supported devices list, due to specific hardware or software configurations. Other devices simply do not have this technology.
Consequently, EZYMOB cannot be held responsible for the unavailability or malfunction of features dependent on ARCore on an incompatible or unsupported device. The User is encouraged to verify their device's ARCore compatibility before use, particularly by consulting the official list of compatible devices available on the Google website.
3.1.1.7. Use of external equipment
Certain features of the Applications rely on the use of the camera integrated into the User's mobile phone. If external equipment (remote camera, smart glasses, etc.) is connected to the phone, EZYMOB cannot guarantee the proper functioning of the environment detection and analysis features.
The User is informed that these external devices may not offer the same quality, stability, or compatibility as the phone's native camera. Consequently, EZYMOB disclaims all liability for any malfunctions, latency, or errors in results related to the use of such external equipment.
3.1.2. Legal prerequisites
Use of the Applications is reserved for adults and minors who have obtained authorization from the holder of parental authority. It is reserved for strictly personal use, for the User's own needs, on a direct or indirect non-profit basis, and without commercial purpose.
4. Price of using the Applications
The Applications are offered by EZYMOB or its Partners free of charge to Users, excluding subscription costs with the mobile phone operator, costs of connection and access to the Internet, and any potential additional costs charged by the operator for data loading. All these costs are and will remain the responsibility of the User and cannot be covered or reimbursed by EZYMOB.
5. Intellectual Property of the Applications
All intellectual property rights relating to the Applications and their content are the exclusive property of EZYMOB or, where applicable, third parties who have granted the latter an operating license. None of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions may be interpreted as organizing, directly or indirectly, an assignment or transfer of all or part of these intellectual property rights or an authorization to exploit all or part of the Applications for the benefit of the User.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, EZYMOB grants the User a strictly personal right to use the Applications, free of charge, on a non-exclusive, revocable, non-assignable, and non-transferable basis, solely for the needs of using the Applications in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, to the exclusion of any other purpose, particularly commercial.
The User is strictly prohibited from accessing and/or using the source codes of the Applications and other software components of the Applications, including for the purpose of correcting errors and/or ensuring the interoperability of the Applications, with EZYMOB reserving the exclusive right to provide for these needs, if necessary. The User is also not authorized to create more than one copy of the Applications, namely the one downloaded to their phone or available from the web for the purposes of using the Applications in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
6. User Obligations and Liability
The User expressly undertakes to use the Applications in accordance with the safety and caution instructions specified in these Terms and Conditions and elsewhere on the Applications, including:
To use the Applications only in addition to other safety devices such as a cane or a guide dog;
To systematically verify the information indicated in the Applications by comparing it with information accessible or broadcast in the User's immediate environment, particularly by road services, transport operators, public access buildings (ERP), or event organizers, such as warning signals, audible or visual information messages, and signaling surfaces at the edge of platforms;
To refrain from using the Applications if they believe that the information provided does not correspond to that received in their immediate environment, or that the conditions for secure use of the Applications are not met (for example: in the event of loss, risk of loss, or insufficient mobile Internet connection).
Important: The User understands and acknowledges that compliance with these safety and caution instructions, and more generally maintaining a vigilant attitude, is necessary at all times when using the Applications, which are only assistance tools and are not intended to, and cannot alone, guarantee the safety of their travel.
The User acknowledges that the operating mode of the Applications is such that it is their responsibility to carry out all necessary checks in their immediate environment throughout their use of the EZYMOB Applications, as the Applications are not able to perform these checks on their behalf.
Furthermore, the User undertakes to use the Applications only for strictly personal and non-commercial use, not to attempt to modify, interface with, or decompile the Applications, and to inform EZYMOB as soon as they suspect or become aware of any act of hacking or any illicit or non-contractual use of the Applications and/or their User Account.
7. EZYMOB's Commitments and Liability
7.1. Availability and proper functioning of the Applications
EZYMOB undertakes to use state-of-the-art efforts to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the Applications, namely:
To ensure the accessibility of the Applications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except for the duration of maintenance work necessary for the proper functioning of the Applications, it being specified that such maintenance work may be carried out without prior notice to Users;
To ensure the security and integrity of the data recorded by the User in the Applications.
The User understands and accepts that, given the nature of the Applications and the techniques used for their operation (including, in particular, the Internet network), EZYMOB's obligations under these Terms and Conditions constitute only obligations of means and cannot, in particular, guarantee (i) that the Applications will always be available and free from breakdowns, flaws, or vulnerabilities, (ii) that the information collected from trusted sources will be systematically complete, up-to-date, and free from errors or inaccuracies, or (iii) that this information will systematically correspond exactly and in real-time to the User's environment.
7.2. EZYMOB's Liability
EZYMOB's liability is limited to compensation for damages that are:
Personally suffered by the User;
Which are a direct and immediate consequence of a failure by EZYMOB to fulfill its obligations under the Contract, it being specified that EZYMOB cannot be held liable for a failure attributable to (i) the User themselves, (ii) the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party not involved in the provision of the Applications, or (iii) a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the Civil Code, i.e., an event beyond EZYMOB's control, which could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of concluding these Terms and Conditions and whose effects cannot be avoided by appropriate measures; and
Which were foreseeable at the time of concluding these Terms and Conditions, it being recalled (i) that the Applications, by their nature, cannot alone guarantee the User's safety during travel, are intended to be used in addition to appropriate devices, such as a cane or a guide dog, and are not intended to replace such devices, and (ii) that the information provided in the Applications must always be interpreted in combination with information available in the User's immediate environment.
The three conditions above are cumulative.
In view of the foregoing, EZYMOB cannot be held liable for any failure caused by or originating from:
Loss or insufficient Internet connection on the User's phone;
Use of the Applications on a phone that is incompatible with the Applications;
Use of the web Applications with a browser that is incompatible with the web Applications;
Configuration of the User's phone that is incompatible with the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions (particularly regarding the settings for voice dictation, voice recognition, geolocation, and the camera);
Use of the Applications in a manner that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, specifically including use of the Applications without appropriate safety devices for the movement of a visually impaired, cognitively impaired, or mobility-impaired person, or any other User;
The entry of incorrect information by the User into the Applications; or the theft or loss of the User's phone, its malfunction, or its shutdown due to a lack of battery.
8. Miscellaneous Provisions

However, despite these efforts, some technical limitations may persist. Users are encouraged to report any difficulties encountered to enable EZYMOB to continuously improve the experience provided.
8.2. Collection and processing of personal data for communication purposes
When using the Applications, and subject to the User's explicit consent, EZYMOB may collect personal data (e.g., email address) for the purpose of sending informational or awareness-raising communications (such as news, event invitations, or a newsletter).
The legal basis for this processing is the User's free and informed consent, which may be withdrawn at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link present in each communication or by contacting EZYMOB at: contact@ezymob.fr.

The modifications made by EZYMOB to the Terms of Service will be brought to your attention during your first login following the publication of the new Terms. To continue using the mobile Applications, you will be required to accept the new Terms of Service at that time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, any new feature or modification to existing features of the Applications is subject to the Terms of Service as in effect at that time, i.e., the latest version of the Terms of Service accepted by the User.
